Nepali Trainer Training Others

One of our trainers from Nepal, named Koshilning, went to India to train a group of sixty church planters with The Timothy Initiative about cross-cultural youth ministry principles.

There are more young people in India than the total population of the United States, so youth ministry will be an important part of any church planting movement that takes place there. Our friends at The Timothy Initiative understand the need for youth ministry.

During the session Koshilning asked participants to write some testimonies about the training they were receiving:

“This (training) awakens me to start some new strategy for youth in ways where the Spirit of God leads me for His kingdom.”

“I praise God for this wonderful meeting. I have gained an understanding about youth ministry and youth cultures. And also how to evangelism to youth… it has helped me understand the strategy of youth ministry.”

“Through this seminar I learned to reach the unreached people through different steps. As relationship building is the first step for evangelism, I never used this step before…now I know the responsibility of a leader to take care of the soul until maturity…it is essential that we make followers, disciples.”

“This training gives me a systematic planning of disciple making process.”

“Sometimes I have ignored ministry to youth, but through the seminary, I learned lots of ideas and very applicable Bible chapters and verses. So after going back home, definitely, I will start to do ministry among the youth/team.”

We are trusting God to use this training to impact young people all throughout India, and Youth Ministry International is excited to be partnering with our friends at The Timothy Initiative as they recognize the need to reach and disciple young people in this strategic part of the world.
