I have been able to travel to Bucharest, Romania with Sonnet and witness first-hand
the refugee crisis and lend a helping hand with some rusty Russian.

The Barr Family

Serving at the YMI Home Office

This past month we helped teach Principles of Youth Ministry, in a new
bachelor’s program at our partner seminary in Asia. We are preparing to (finally!) move to SE Asia in June after a long delay because of the pandemic. We appreciate your prayers throughout this time of transition for our family

The Grom Family

Serving in Asia

As of February 24, 2022 our ministry focus shifted to those coming out of
Ukraine. We have been involved in ministry in churches, the seminary, and other organizations to love on those whose lives have been turned upside down because of this war.

The Hinton Family

Serving in Romania

Our family has moved into a long term apartment in Bucharest and is adjusting well. We are helping start a Ukrainian church service on Saturday nights for Ukrainian refugees.

The Hughes Family

Serving in Ukraine

Things are beginning to move forward in Asia! We are set to conduct online training at the Bachelor’s level in Malaysia which includes training future trainers. At the same time, we will continue to conduct informal training seminars for local churches in Malaysia and Asia as a whole. These seminars are fertile ground for recruiting future full-time students. Asian youth ministry is on the move!

The Kaptain Family

Serving in Asia

We spent an extended time in California with the Groms and the Kaptains before they move to Malaysia. What a blessing that was for us to be able to sit in a room and see each other face-to-face. (Genesis 1:27)

The Mills Family

Serving in Missionary Care

I am transporting supplies from the border to towns around Kiev that are under attack, and I am transporting homeless Ukrainians from war-torn cities and villages to the safety of the western border.

The Ostriy Family

Serving in Ukraine

While our lives are somewhat normal, our ministry now involves helping refugees fleeing Ukraine and coming to Bucharest. I have been able to make several border runs taking supplies and bringing back refugees.
